REGISTER OF PASSED DRIVERS (abridged version)
The Committee have reviewed and revised the register of passed drivers, for passenger carrying on public events. This is to ensure we comply with current insurance requirements. Any member aged 16yrs. and over may apply to be a passed driver for for public events. If you have not completed the new registration form and wish to drive at public events (whether passenger hauling or not), please fill in a application form, copies available in the clubroom.
RUNNING LOGS (abridged version)
Any member driving a locomotive at any running event, be it members days or public running on either of club tracks, MUST add their details to the running log for that day PRIOR to running. This includes boiler certification spark arrester not a deflector (where necessary), safety chain etc.
MAY EVENTS
Tues 21st. General Meeting, 7.30pm. Workshop Hints and Tips.
Fri 24th. School Fun Run Day. 9:30am start. Locos and volunteers required for both tracks.
Sat 25th. & Sun 26th. OPEN WEEKEND 10.30am. to 4.00pm. Refreshments available 'til 3.00pm. 'Note' Fred Walker - Metal man, will NOT be attending. We need more willing members to undertake various roles, a lack of volunteers could jeopardise our public running event, please make the effort.
Sun 26th. - Mon 27th. Papplewick Artisan Fair.
JUNE EVENTS
Sat 1st. Boiler testing. NOT the 8th as advertised in the clubroom.
Tues 4th. Committee meeting, 7.30pm.
Weds 5th. Members Running Day, from 12pm.
Tues 18th. General Meeting, 7.30pm. Speaker/Topic to be arranged
Sat 22nd. Members Running Day, 10.30am to 4pm. Refreshments available.
JULY EVENTS
Tues 2nd. Committee Meeting, 7.30pm.
Weds 3rd. Members Running Day from 12pm.
Thurs 4th. Deadline for The Stephenson Link articles.
Weekend 13th/14th Papplewick, Steam Punk.
Tues 16th. General Meeting, speaker/theme to announced at a later date.
Sat 20th. Members Running Day, 10.30am to 4pm. Refreshments available.
